A lot of this information is preliminary but this is what I have. We will follow the GMSAA constitution but add a section of by-laws specifically for flag football. The league will vote to approve these rules.

Players:
GMSAA is residency-based and all players will need to be certified before they are eligible to participate. All players will need to live in the district of the high school feeder program to be certified unless they qualify for the exemptions listed in the GMSAA by-laws.

2. McEachern 1-2 teams
3. Trinity Christian 1 team
4. St. Benedict's 1 -2 teams
5. Lithia Springs 1 team
6. Woodstock 1 team
7. South Forsyth 1 -2 teams
8. Roswell 1 team
9. Hillgrove 1-2 teams
10. Sequoyah 1 team
11. BT 1-2 teams
12. Pope 1 team
13. Allatoona 1 team
14. Carrollton 1 team
15. West Forsyth 1 team

• Tryouts – July 29th thru August 4th
• First official practices the week of August 5th
• Game dates (2 games a weekend for 5 weekends)
• August 17th -18th
• August 24th – 25th
• September 7th -8th
• September 14th -15th
• September 21st -22nd
• End of season tournament – September 28th -29th

Insurance:
Each program will be required to carry an insurance policy that covers their team(s). These policies could be added on to an existing middle school football policy.

Notes:
Games typically last an hour.
3 teams will show up at 1 site and each team will play 2 games.
Games will be played on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, or Tuesdays depending on a field space
